This is the Vietnamese version of doughnuts but deep-fried which is the opposite of the original texture that is soft. It’s served in tiny bun pieces topped with sesame seeds. Banh Tieu is best paired with a hot cup of tea especially during the rainy season.

Che Troi Nuoc
Vietnamese desserts are centred around glutinous rice and bean pastes as you can see and this dessert is another addition to our list! Che Troi Nuoc is often served during traditional holidays in Vietnam. It’s made of a huge sticky rice ball stuffed with mung bean paste inside and covered with ginger syrup with sesame seeds topping.
